Renewal Proposal

A proposal by the Arkansas Polygraph Association has been submitted to the Arkansas State Legislature to change company renewals from one year to two year.   The fee will also double, but since the renewal is now for two years, there is no net increase.

The ASAA has endorsed this proposal as it will reduce the time and paperwork for all alarm companies, as well as the staff at the Arkansas State Police.

The initial license term and fee will not be changed.

Application & Renewal Changes

The administration staff at the Arkansas State Police have been working on streamlining the application and renewal process for all companies and individuals.  This consists mostly of cleaning up the applications.   A draft copy is linked below.  Please email Jordon with your comments or suggestions.

Do NOT submit these documents to the State Police.  When the changes are completed, a downloadable version will be available on the Arkansas State Police web-site.

Two Year Renewal

The Arkansas Legislature is considering a proposal to extend the company renewal applications to two years.   The fee will double as well, but applications will only have to be filled out every-other-year, not annually.
